A three-year NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow position is available to start immediately in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. The main focus of this position is the validation of antibody therapeutics for the treatment of chronic pain using a combination of animal models, human sensory neurons, patch-clamp electrophysiology and calcium imaging. Pay will be in accordance with NIH guidelines. Opportunities for career advancement will be provided based on performance.
