The Pain Research Forum is pleased to announce the addition of six leading pain researchers to our panel of science advisors. Marshall Devor, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel; Christopher Eccleston, University of Bath, UK; Rohini Kuner, University of Heidelberg, Germany; Stephen McMahon, King’s College London, UK; William Schmidt, NorthStar Consulting, Davis, California, US; and Clifford Woolf, Children’s Hospital Boston, US, will join our founding advisors (Allan Basbaum, University of California, San Francisco, US; Kathleen Foley, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, US; Joseph Martin, Harvard Medical School, Boston, US; Jeffrey Mogil, McGill University, Montreal, Canada; and Anne Louise Oaklander, Harvard Medical School, Boston, US) to guide the Pain Research Forum in 2012 and 2013.
PRF science advisors are among the top pain researchers and key thought leaders in the field from all over the world. Our advisors lend their experience and enthusiasm to identifying the most important new work, trends, and emerging topics for news and commentary, and contribute their voices to our forums. With their guidance, the PRF looks forward to developing new resources and features that will best serve the diverse worldwide pain research community.
